Kyle Ancowitz
Theater Director
Kyle Ancowitz is a theater director and a founding member of Blue Coyote Theater Group and Theater Accident. Raised in a military family, Kyle grew up in lots of places on both coasts. After graduating from Dartmouth College, he worked as a directing resident at Playwrights Horizons, participating in such productions as The Uneasy Chair by Evan Smith and Betty's Summer Vacation by Christopher Durang.
Kyle's work is distinguished by versatility and fluency in a variety of styles. As a director and a dramaturg, Kyle has brought new plays and new playwrights to the New York stage since 1999. He develops new plays in intense collaborations with playwrights, ensuring that the writer’s vision is vividly brought to life.
